Taking our babyfood making to the next level!!!!

Well as i have said before i have been dabbling in baby food production! I haven't been as diligent or constant with it and yes, ill admit my precious daughter has had some of the pre packaged, no expiration date baby food from the grocery store shelves. However i have recently invested in all of the equipment to take my baby food making to the next level.

I will be enlisting in some help from her big brother today and we will be trying a number of recipes. My goal: TO create and freeze a good amount of baby food so this sweet girl will have plenty of healthy food and no excuses for her mommy to cheat and feed her the shelf food. (There truly is something alarming about Carrots, Squash and other veggies that have a 3 yr expiration date.) If all goes well today i will be posting some recipes and techniques etc. (i may even create a little page for this ... if i get the motivation) Well i hope everyone has a fantastic day!!!

Good for you! I'll be 100% honest...I thought about it for about 5 minutes when my oldest was a baby, but I was working full time at the time and it just was NOT going to happen. With my son, I was just plain lazy! At the very least, it saves a lot of money :)

its so easy! i love pureeing baby food! I wasn't able to do it with Iden when he was a babe but once he got older I tried pureeing fruits and veggies and putting them in other meals! I'm jealous you got the one from Williams-Sonoma! I told Phill we NEED that when we have baby #2! Good luck girl!
