And we attempted to use the new baby food maker for the first time. and let me tell you ... this thing is AMMMMAAAAZZZINNNNGG!!! it makes the food in like 30 minutes and you really don't have to do anything. You pick the fruit or veggie you want to make (in our case we chose butternut squash)place it in the little basket. use the built in measuring cup and add the water into the steamer. Place the basket into the machine and turn it on... and wal-ah it steams it in about 15 min or less. Once the steamer stops... you can let the food sit for about 5 or ten more minutes you will notice all of the juices from the veggies at the bottom of the container... you pull out the basket and dump the food into the container with the juices and it blends it nice and smooth...no chunks or clumps. Then pour it into the portion tray and place it into the freezer and you are done!!! I think this whole baby food making is going to be easier then i imagined!!! If you are considering making your little one fresh homemade baby food... i highly recommend this contraption. It did all the work while i made our dinner... sooo easy!!!

Also... Dont forget about My Give Away!!! Give your blog a new look!!!!

Auh-mazing!
Great job!
I too, made my own baby food, but we just have a big old ugly steamer to do it:)
Now that my girl is a toddler, we still puree all our veggies and I hide them in different meals. I hide butternut squash in everything..meatloaf, spaghetti sauce, and bananna bread!
Love those pics, your baby is adorable! I want to be a 22 year old housewife!!!
aww so sweet, i was going to attempt making our own but that totally didn't happen lol
I'm totally going to HAVE to remember this if I ever have another baby. At this point I think my 16 month old might be a little to far gone on real food!!
lol. I love your post - especially the photo of the "taste-tester". Too cute!
Thanks for visiting The Suburban Princess Diaries.
I am now following you too!
Yay!!!
I love homemade baby food.
Well actually I don't love it myself, I just love when I see other mom's making it.
I made my daughter's food from 5 months-10 months, and it's so refreshing to know it's so healthy and awesome for them.
