My birthday is in a few weeks and for a slightly early gift I got a brand new camera... A Nikon DC3000 and I got to take it out this weekend and shoot my Best friends daughter as my first session. These pics are for her first birthday and to be honest ... im not sure if it is my sweet photography skills ;0), the super duper fancy camera, or this beautiful baby ...but all of those elements seemed to work in my favor because I am now being asked how much I charge and if I do weddings lol...
So let me know what you think!!!!

Beautiful pictures!
You did a great job! Looks like you might have a new gig on the side? Good for you.
so cute. I wish you lived in Cali to snap some shots of my cuties.
First of all...TOTALLY JEALOUS of your new camera. Second of all...beyootiful pictures. You did an amazing job! Love all of the pics.
Beautiful pics! I wish my camera was that awesome!
Congratulations on your new camera, these are great shots. So are you shooting manual or in auto? I think too many people try to jump into business too soon so enjoy the camera and enjoy the process of learning before going into business...especially weddings.
o lord i would never do a wedding ha ha ... that is too special of a day ... I am just enjoying taking pics of my friends kiddos for now!!! Gives me a little hobby!!! Thanks for the advice... and i have to agree
Oh my gosh, those might be the cutest pictures ever...love the shot of that precious baby lookin' down at the ground! So innocent and perfect! I'd let you take my boys pics! Great job :) Oh and I've been asking "santa" for a new camera this year for Christmas and have heard great things about your Nikon, but is it for dummies too?! I am a total Mommy photographer...take too many pictures and most of them aer TERRIBLE, but at least I wanna capture all those great moments the best way I know how...so, could I use that one or find one a little more for a "rookie"??!
I'm a rookie and so far its been really easy to use!!!! I love it ... Ive never used a fancy camera before... but I am sure I haven't figured out its full capabilities just yet ;0)
Isn't editing and photography so fun!!! And a lovely hobby for stay-at-home-moms.
Pictures are super cute!

Fabulous photos!!! You did an amazing job!! A good camera definitely helps but you have to have some sort of eye for things like that. Especially babies!! I dabble a little as well and I just continue to play with my camera and different settings!! I shoot in the AV mode a lot!
Wow, you are very talented! What a cute little girl =)
