Wordless Wednesday: Finally Summer is in full swing...

The Little (& not so little) Dilemmas of a housewife...

We are in full summer mode... and i feel overwhelmed and like my life is crazy! I would give anything for an organizer to come to and straighten my life out (especially my house!) But in all seriousness i am thinking of a plan for the upcoming days. As i have mentioned before i have recently enrolled my son in Kindergarten, HOWEVER... Homeschooling has come to my attention in many conversations. Although this idea seems appealing ... it also seems overwhelming! I wouldn't even know where to begin with this! Plus i feel so disorganized I'm worried i would fail at this and slack off and my kids would pay the price... now i know the home schooling subject is a long and controversial debate... but i would love it if some of my followers and readers can give me some advice, some references and some pointers! I welcome any and all opinions!!! Really the more the marrier.
I am so back and forth on the subject ... is it academically OK for their future? Does it effect college acceptance? How hard is it to keep the kids focused? Does it effect this children socially? How do moms stayed on track and focused?

AHHHH so many questions!!!

Now if this summer i could focus on getting organized... i want so badly to become one of those housewives that is organized and together... instead I'm not sure where my days go... how the laundry piles up and where the constant never ending clutter comes from!!! Sometimes i want to get out of my house just because i don't want to look at it anymore! So i welcome any and all suggestions on tis topic as well...

My Apologies... BUT I have great news!!!!

Well before i get to the great news (Which is by the way the winner of my first give away!!) i would like to make a few apologies. Since we came back from vacation... our Internet has not been working. So i have not been able to get on in a week! (This is by the way killing me!!! lol) I hate not being able to talk to you fellow bloggers... see new pictures... and check out how all of the beautiful kiddos are doing. I am hoping we will have it fixed and up and running soon, but until then i want to apologize on all accounts for all three of my blogs not being updated. I have not forgotten about any of you ... nor did I forget about the give away. I guess is short... this whole Internet problem couldn't have come at a worse time.

Back to reality!

Well we made it back from Fabulous Las Vegas! We had a blast... it was a much needed break from a hectic last couple of weeks. Although coming back from vacation is overwhelming... there is always so much going on and seems you are blind sided by stuff that has happened while you are gone. My daughter started to pull her self up on things, my sons newly developed 15 yd old attitude has not magically disappeared, some close friends of mine are having some relationship problems which makes me sad that this is going on ... sad for their baby and sad for them to have to be going through this. I also came home to more tax drama ... my sons final days of pre-school, Dr. appointments and a whirlwind of emails regarding my upcoming custody drama. While i was away however i spent some much needed time with my honey who made sure my first trip to Vegas was unforgettable and amazing. I spent time with girlfriends who work like crazy and we hardly get to see each other... and remembered what it was like to get all dressed up and have a great time without finding a babysitter, taking the kids.... etc. I think vacation or breaks in general are much needed for the soul. Last week my patience was wearing thin and this week i feel refreshed and ready to conquer all of the drama coming my way.

On another note i have had a few people ask about the drawing; i will be drawing for the blog give away 1 week from today. So next Wednesday we will be giving away a refreshing blog makeover!!! Manic MOMday Monday!

Wow... i am sooo ready for my vacation already... this week has been crazy to say the least and extremely stressful. Our vacation at the end of this week will be just what i need.

Not sure whats going on with my 5 yr old... he literally turned 5 and a switch flipped. He now talks back, says he hates me (which i thought wasn't supposed to happen until he was like 16) and locks himself in his room. (again something i did in high school not pre-school lol) He has become quite the negotiator and the debater (both super nice words for arguer). Needless to say when my honey gets home I'm like take him please take him away!!!! ha ha i love him to death but the sound of him going to bed makes my day!

With all of the arguing with my lil man i seemed to have missed the part in Maddi's life where she learned to take off her diaper. This happens on a daily basis... she even manages to loosen it when she has a onesie on!!! i have walked in on her swinging her diaper around her crib... and had to clean up a Maddi patty off of my living room floor yesterday! Not good!

With all of the craziness at home i am ready to hit the pool... and ready for a break. I love my babies but it seems they are testing me this week for sure. Not to mention i have had a migraine for like a week it seems.

Sorry to complain but glad to have it off my chest!
